Jon has been teaching, choreographing, and performing Argentine tango since 2007 — at Lincoln Center, the 92nd Street Y, and the Starlight Roof Ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria, and at festivals in Japan, Korea, and across Europe.
He is one of very few teachers in New York who specialise in traditional close embrace, across all three dances: tango, milonga, and vals. His philosophy is that technique is the grammar that holds the language of the dance together.
