Privacy policy

This policy explains what NY Tango School collects when you visit this website, why, and what happens to it. Last updated 7 September 2026.

The short version

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or visitor tracking of any kind. We do not sell or share personal information. The only information we receive from you is what you type into the contact form or the chat widget, and we use it to reply to you.

What you send us directly

The contact form asks for your name, email address, a subject and a message. When you submit it, that information is emailed to us. It is not stored in a database on this website. We keep the resulting email for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and our ordinary business records.

If you call, text or message us on WhatsApp, we hold your phone number and the contents of those messages in the same way.

The chat widget

Pages on this site load a chat widget provided by Re:amaze. If you open it and send a message, Re:amaze processes that conversation on our behalf so we can reply. The widget also sets its own cookies in your browser and receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view. If you never open the chat, you still load the widget, but you send it no personal message.

Fonts

Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading a page therefore makes a request to Google's servers, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. We do not send Google anything else about you, and we receive nothing back.

Videos and images

The class videos on this site are hosted on our own server. They are not embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or any other platform, so watching them does not report anything to a third party.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own for ordinary visitors. The chat widget described above sets its own. A session cookie is used on our staff admin page, which is not accessible to the public.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web host keeps standard access logs recording IP addresses, timestamps and requested pages. These are used for security and troubleshooting.

Links out

We link to Instagram, Facebook, Yelp and WhatsApp. Once you follow one of those links you are on their service, governed by their privacy policy, not this one.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details below and we will respond. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, though the chat widget may then not work.
